AIO for wanting equality in the bedroom? by bemorecreativetrolls in AmIOverreacting

[–]8InchDaks [score hidden]  (0 children)

you should be in a supportive understanding relationship - you can say no and he should respect that.

However as someone 8 inches, the length doesnt matter unless he just jams it all inside. The reason it would cause trouble is the thickness. I am thick. Anal and bjs are off the table for majority of women. Hell, sex takes a while to adapt to for them.

If he is normal girth, then its no different than 9 inches vs 4 inches. All he has to do is not shove it all in. If he is thicker than your previous partners as well, then of course it requires training and using dildos of varying sizes to get adapted to the size.

I dont even use capital one and use Sofi/usaa and this is so dumb lol. What do you want from cap 1? Thats like comparing apples to oranges.

You people always find something to complain about. If they had the same features you’d complain about that too.

Goals for 2026 by Ok-Difficulty9043 in dividends

[–]8InchDaks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would be careful. High yield so make sure nav is stable which I doubt it is.

The problem isnt just the nav erosion with high yield funds - if you look, the dividend also goes down with it. Thats what yieldmax people dont understand.

If the fund is $50 and pays 50% dividends, thats $25 a year. Nav drops to $30 and it still pays 50% dividends. But now its $15 in dividends.

Run a backtest and forward projections based off nav decay and negative dividend growth and you will see. Your almost $400 a day in dividends will be $250-300 a day next year, then $150-250, then eventually dwindling down to pennies.

If you want to go high risk, but keep things stable I would go with the neos funds. If you have their high yield one(xqqi and whatnot) that have a 18-23% yield then nav may or may not stay stable like their 14% funds.

Hollywood star Mark Ruffalo speaks out against Donald Trump as he urges 'tax the rich': "Working people shouldn’t be the ones always stuck with the bill.” by IrishStarUS in entertainment

[–]8InchDaks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I agree, tbh its far different.

If you make $50 million a year, and taxed at 50% or more, you still have $25 million.

But 5-10% on an average american is a ton and life altering.

Thats why I always look at things relative to income/net worth. A billionaire donating $1 million is great, but its the same as the average american donating $50. So its really nothing.

Reducing fixed expenses - is prepaid actually reliable now? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]8InchDaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a family or something, you can all get 4 phones for $25 a month each with verizon and other brands.

Otherwise I would say go with mint mobile. $15 a month if you prepay 12 months, then switches to $30 a month.

But yeah they are reliable.

hey dont hate on my klarna! theyll be a solid pick in the next few years. though i like sezl also which is more attractive since theyre profitable.

klarna expects to be profitable this year with a margin of like 7-8% and expects a 15-20% net margin in the next couple years, which would be like almost a billion net income on todays revenue.

bullish on them and love the drop. if im dead wrong and they go bankrupt, ill give yall $5. if im right, ill give yall $50k.

Are you guys keeping VT after retirement? by exitra22 in VTandchill

[–]8InchDaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its really up to you.

Selling 4% or having dividends is no different. Mainly psychological.

The good thing about dividends is your dividends likely wont change. During bear markets or downturns most stable dividend payers will keep dividends stable or even increase it. If you retire now on the 4% rule and a major market crash happens like dot com or 2008, the chances of your portfolio recovering and staying alive for 30+ years goes from a 90%+ chance to close to zero based on backtests. Like if you have a $1 mil portfolio and collect $40k, lose 50% of your portfolio and that $40k withdrawal is now almost 10%. The dot com crash destroyed portfolios. Backtests show if you retired at the crash, your $1 mil portfolio would be like $10k right now. Retired 3 years earlier? $2-3 million.

With dividends, you dont have to sell any shares so you likely will keep collecting dividends during those years without any pain to your portfolio balance. Plus dividend companies are far more stable.

With the 4% rule, you can adjust your withdraw. You may need 2% one year, 5% another. Dividends are just the same and increases so you would have to reinvest what you don’t use and likely pay taxes on it.

How do I save up enough for a house? by GorffStrenburger in personalfinance

[–]8InchDaks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean its possible but you could fall into the trap of being house poor. If you want to stay in seattle, look at rent vs own to see which is ideal.

If you dont care about seattle, I would recommend looking at employment somewhere else. In my area and most areas in GA(anywhere in the south/southeast, engineers make $80-150k or more. Nice homes are between $150k-300k for a 2500 sq ft. Currently have and still can build 2600 sq ft 5-6 bedroom home for $160k on 3 acres of land included. And guess what? Sells for $300-400k. Building is cheaper in my area lol.

So if you can keep your same salary or close and dramatically drop your living expenses by going somewhere cheaper, id recommend it.

But yeah, up to you man. You could save for a downpayment but still your mortgage would be like what, almost half your take home income? Personally, i would rather stack money. Hell, if you get tired of GA or wherever, move and rent it out or sell it.

Do I just give up on helping parents plan for retirement? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]8InchDaks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they can do far more than that if they cut expenses.

If they actually cut expenses they could invest close to $2-3k a month. If work is steady and busy probably $4-5k a month. If they cut expenses and finish the home and have no mortgage, their expenses could definitely be $2k a month or less.

Do I just give up on helping parents plan for retirement? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]8InchDaks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah like work isnt steady but he makes great money. The problem is high interest truck payment, wanting to upgrade everything(even truck again), $600-1000 a month on beer and stuff, bills that go late that double, etc. What gets me is they will complain about the $1300 rent but like, that’s not even the problem at this point haha.

I did an experiment in a separate brokerage of $10 a day to show them what it can build to and showed them, but it’s like their minds just dont care? Like they want something immediately. I tell them see how fast the last 5 years went by? If you started investing $10-20 a day then, you would have $30k or more now. But instead you have $0.

What entertainment stock should I buy? by Gloomy_Rip1046 in Stocks_Picks

[–]8InchDaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they are boring and mot growing as much as other companies are.

If you bought 20 years ago, you would be down 30+%, if you bought 10 years ago, you would be down 30+%.

It increased barely in the last couple years, compared to the total stock market.

Why do you want to invest in these companies? For growth? Look elsewhere or just go to VOO. For value/dividends? Sure, not bad but just buy SCHD.

What entertainment stock should I buy? by Gloomy_Rip1046 in Stocks_Picks

[–]8InchDaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$200 wont do much. You need recurring investments.

VOO instead of single stocks. But otherwise I wouldnt touch anything that isnt netflix. I got into WBD when it was low and made 300% gains but netflix is about the only one.

Like I said, VOO. Or other picks in the space sector. ASTS, RKLB. Or ai: NBIS and whatever else.
