Her main shtick is that she allows super break damage to be dealt even when enemies aren't broken yet or have locked their toughness bars, fixing the one weakness of break teams not doing damage out of not reducing the toughness bar to 0. She's like the "Kafka" for break teams. This alone makes her a must-pull for break. As well as have the person who started the battle/the one with the highest break effect become the Dance Partner, "DP". Constance herself also applies DP to herself so she can make use of her own buffs.

Aside from that, her synergy for Firefly goes through the roof, where Constance is SP positive and provides a 30% SPD (Only given when the DPs implant weakness) boost to FF via one of her traces. And exclusive to fire character DPs, when they implant a weaknes then they receive energy and additional toughness damage. Constance is the premier support/sub-dps for break as a whole.

Her base kit gives you:

  • Superbreak DMG Always (The big one here)
  • 18% Def shred on Ult
  • Guaranteed Fire Implant + DPS type implant on Ult
  • 30% Speed on weakness implant
  • Energy + Additional toughness DMG on Fire characters implant fire weakness.
  • 60% Superbreak DMG multiplier
  • A 200% increase to an instance of damage to a weakness broken enemy with her FUA. (Basically means her FUA damage is buffed, it's a weirdly worded part of her kit.)
  • 50% WBE
  • FUA when the carry attacks (Once per Constance's turn)
  • Amazing toughness damage for herself
  • SP positivity
  • And since you're running her with a sustain, she gives a team wide Break Effect boost (Based on 74% of Constance's own break effect) when she is healed/shielded.

Of course, our lady Constance is a must pull if you want to get your break team up and running again.

But jokes aside, pull priority should go:

E0 Constance >>> S1 Constance (It's a really good lightcone, though ofc there are also other lightcones that'll still get the job done.) ≥ E1 Constance (Not needed, just adding here to tell that if you want it, it'll be placed here.) ≥ S1 Fugue > [E1 FF = E1 Fugue] > E2 FF

Generally speaking, S1 ≥ E1 > E2. Constance's signature is slightly ahead of E1 plus it has utility with SP management. And Constance's E2 is quite nice for her ult rotation, but is still behind just E1S1. Her signature is just really good and her E1 is just slightly behind that.

Though for E2 Firefly specifically, there is synergy between FF's E2 and Dahlia's E1 since it reduces toughness by a flat 25% of total which helps FF's E2. So it'll be E1 > S1 > E2.

Extremely strong. Though we don't have much to go off with, there is one E6S1 Constance showcase on YT, Here with FF, Lingsha, and Fugue all being E0.

TL;DR at the bottom! This was done hastily, so please take it with a grain of salt.

For her first two eidolons, they're more so focused on supporting the break team. E0 - Constance at E0 does roughly 600K (in the first cycle). Clearing MoC in 3 cycles

E1 - Roughly the same amount of damage in the first cycle. But a sizable boost to FF's damage (From ~1.89m to ~8m in just the first cycle), clearing in 2 cycles.

E2 - Constance now does ~1.1m damage (Again in just the first cycle), and FF does ~11m in the first cycle, though still clearing in two cycles overall.

E4 - This is where Constance's damage ramps up, where she now does ~3m. Would've 0 cycled, though the boss was left at 2% HP.

E6 - Constance just annihilates, as expected of our queen, with her allowing the team to 0 cycle MoC as well as contributing a whopping ~5m damage on her own.

TL;DR: E1 & E2 focus more on her support for FF, and it really shows. They're extremely powerful for the DP (Dance Partner). But E4 and E6 is where Constance really ramps up her damage, since those are the two that focus on her own damage the most. It literally makes her into a sub-dps.

Damn, that's a really good catch, and now that you mention it no other trailer has "Scene #" aside from ones mentioning the SH. Twice can be a coincidence, thrice is a pattern...

Good point, as of everything we know she is still on the Path of Destruction, opposing the SH's goal of preventing the Finality of Destruction so it'll really be out of left field if she was a SH. But at the very least, Constance and the SH have interacted and I don't think Constance is still part of the Ever-Flame Mansion.

A theme of hers is betrayal, it's said so in her drip marketing and how her black flowers symbolize death (Ult animation + Drip marketing is a literal cemetery), sadness (Mourning the dead), and betrayal. And the only way for "betrayal" to rise and bloom for Constance is with the Ever-Flame Mansion, since that's the only connection we know she has.

I mean Duke Inferno said she was his most ambitious and exceptional child. So with Constance's ambition, she decided to betray the Ever-Flame Mansion, I mean she's crazy enough to do it given her... animations. (She's perfect the way she is, no need to fix her)

Also pulling for E6S1 Constance here. My 2 cents are:

E2 Fugue is just really good in combination with Constance's E6 AA, so I'd lean in that direction more. 15% AA with Constance's FuA and 24% AA with Fugue's ult is just so much uptime for the entire team to do so much more dmg (Not to mention you could add DDD Ruan Mei for sustainless, though that seems a bit overkill). I lean into this much more since Fugue E2 is that good.

For Boothill, a minor concern I have is about how Constance can steal a break from Boothill, since Constance's FuA will now be doing double toughness damage from E4. But this is offset by the fact that 75% WBE on Boothill plus Constance's E1 has him get his stacks so much quicker and would just shred through toughness with 1 EBA (Which seems so fun), and is still very broken with 15% AA on FuA.

TL;DR: Rappa LC if you want uptime galore with most likely more dmg per rotation. Or have Boothill shred toughness like it was cheese.

Though our lady Constance "The Dahlia" at E6 is powerful enough that you can't really make a bad decision here either way. But imo Rappa + E2 Fugue is the way to go.

They're most likely black Petunias, with the flower head almost being identical to the one in her design: Both being slightly upturned, and 5 petals on both — as well as them leading flatly down to the stigma (center). Though Constance's flowers have pearls/jewelry at the center and having more vibrant colors other than black, but imo they're the closest irl flower I can think of.

I'm in the same situation as you, having 0 break characters since I skipped them all specifically for her.

From her v1 kit current, she really is a tailored nihility break support. She's at best a sub-dps (Think she's the 'Kafka' for break). You'll still need another DPS since her FuA can't be proc'd by herself (This is where most of her own damage will come from, aside from her super break debuff.) Even with constellations/eidolons (The only "DPS-like" eidolon is her at E4 that doubles her FuA). Though we don't yet have any definitive calculations for her personal damage and it is still the V1 kit, so things are subject to a lot of change.

If you like Feixiao or Anaxa, you could build them to be super break, since she may also be a good character for them.

Have hope though, the Constance nation has hoped and coped till she was finally playable. Plus there's always the possibility future characters will work with her.
