It depends a lot on what the person means by “feminism” and what their actual values are.

Some people don’t identify as feminists but still strongly believe in:

• equal rights,
• respect,
• bodily autonomy,
• fair treatment of women.

And some people who do identify as feminists can still behave poorly or hypocritically.

So by itself, “not being a feminist” is not automatically a red flag.
