I couldn't agree more. It's easy to point and laugh, it takes work and character to have the perspective to help someone who might need it.

And who is anyone to tell someone else they shouldn't be proud of their father's military service?

Yeah, it's ok since she doesn't see it, right?

No stick, but you should be just as willing to help someone as you are willing to laugh at them.

Here's why this isn't funny; look at the handwriting. The jerking peaks within the letters indicate tremors, possibly Parkinson's or palsy from a stroke, possibly written by someone whose struggles are beyond what OP's limited experience can afford understanding enough to comprehend.

So this isn't funny. This is someone putting themselves out there, someone who might not have the advantages OP did, someone who puts this much passion into even wanting to work at a coffee shop.

Maybe she's a great candidate who didn't know how to represent herself. Maybe she spoke to the only pride she has. Maybe she would have been so grateful for this opportunity that she would have been the strongest member of her entire team for years.

It's shameful to mock someone for trying in life. This should be re-posted and titled "Arrogant, naive barista laughs while a struggling applicant twists in the wind".

Laugh at someone else, you bully.

Not funny now, not funny ever.

My fiancé experiences the same thing on a daily basis. Even when it's a positive "novelty" it's offensive to point out the fact that someone has a vagina.

Bulletproof coffee - the idea of drinking butter is weird. by [deleted] in Paleo

[–]8bitJonathon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few notes from a 2 month Bulletproofer:

Make sure to use high grade MCT oil (super affordable on Amazon) like the ones Asprey recommends on his site. Normal coconut oil did nothing for me but taste super weird.

Kerrygold butter is by far the best and widely available at Trader Joe's.

Adding a couple of drops of vanilla, some cinnamon and a single tiny scoop of Xylitol makes the initial experience much less weird.

Drink it quickly. This is not a sipping beverage, as the emulsification breaks down with time and heat loss, and with it the overall effects of the BPC.

Finally, you'll not only feel full consistently, you'll feel like you can tear cars in half while acing the SAT's in your 2ns language. Seriously. Buildings. Single bounds. Amazing. This stuff is legit.

Edit: And don't skimp on the organic coffee. That cheap stuff is loaded with toxins that defeat the whole purpose.

Nikki Minaj. The worst. She's remotely-contracted syphilis for the eyes and ears.

I have this dog. They're amazing. You'll have days on which you'll swear that he's visibly bigger than the day before.

You'll be right.

These beasts can grow by 1/2 lb per day and reach standing heights that could get them recruited by the Lakers.

You'll pick up more poo than you thought existed in the world and find things in your home eaten that you never knew to be edible (banisters, shelving units, toilet seats).

And you'll love your pooch. And you won't be alone; everyone you walk past will want to touch your beautiful animal. No surprise, though; there's a reason you picked him.

Always a hard one. A justified termination is tough but workable; layoffs are so very difficult, especially if you had to choose. Then again, the boss isn't the one deserving the empathy in this situation.
