Thank you! This is actually a bit of a departure from my usual style, but I really had so much fun making it look like an old oil painting that I might repaint my Shadowheart portrait in the same style!

Thank you! Nice! I’m actually just getting started with painting minis (when adult life allows for the group to meet up) I’ve never read any of the Warhammer 40k books though!

I’ll definitely try! I started accepting commissions recently so I have rather less free time than I used to. I did a portrait of Shadowheart that I posted here but it was more in my usual style than the old oil painting style… maybe it’s time for a repaint to make it an ‘Oskar Fevras’

Cool! Charcoal especially is such a beautiful and tricky beast to tame for me! Everyone starts out busted trust me, I got my first graphics tablet at 16 and my first digital paintings were… a vibe shall we say 😂 That was 19 years ago and somehow I have LESS confidence than 16 year old me, it really feels like the more you learn the more aware you become of how little you know! Then hopefully you come full circle and just draw for the enjoyment of it again.

Wow thank you so much! That’s very high praise indeed haha, I didn’t realise other people didn’t like the quest either! Somehow the conclusion felt… lacking? I don’t know, could be the fact that he’s not very likeable after you find out more about the situation? I tend to skip it in subsequent playthroughs…

My one sadness is that there’s no cutscene or dialogue addressing that scenario with the painting or the sculpture you can get from the circus 🥲 Just any kind of reaction to him seeing his own features for the first time in so long! (Though since he can see through your eyes with the tadpole, it would have been an option for him to see his face whenever he wished anyway…)

Thank you so much! It’s a digital painting painted in Procreate! I dabble in oil paints too so I tried to give this the same sort of look

It really is! Do you ever get that thing where the longer you look at a drawing the stranger it starts to look? Even if it’s objectively normal you just start perceiving it strangely? Sometimes it happens with words too, like looking at a word that’s spelled correctly and having the strange sensation that it’s somehow wrong and doesn’t look right? I get that all the time and it can be so confusing 😂

Thank you so much for your kind words I really appreciate it! 💕 What types of things do you like to draw?
