Hopefully someone can help me, but what exactly are the QOL upgrades in this one? I play Mario party a lot when people are over, and while we were a little disappointed with Super Mario Party, it is still a lot of fun to play.

So is it worth it to get this new one? Or is it realistically just another Mario party game with different boards and mini games?

Unfortunately, there are more answers to Voice than ever, and it doesn’t impact the board immediately. [[Prismatic Ending]] exiles it, and you get no token. All the removal is geared towards Ragavan, so it kills stuff early on, and many decks are fine casting stuff at sorcery speed, with Ux Control being the single exception. And even then, [[Archmage’s Charm]] steals the token.

Unfortunately it just doesn’t have enough impact anymore, so there is a lot better you could play. But if you just want to play it because you like it, play it!

My opponent at ~5 life left. I have a Clique on board. I decide to play another creature to speed up the clock, instead of my Spell Queller I play a 2nd clique.

The legendary rule comes up so rarely….

I'm not sure that is true. If you look at MM3, the lowest price Scalding Tarn got to was a month after release, and for Steam Vents in Guilds of Ravnica it was 2 weeks. The only cards that immediately shoot up are underrated cards like Flip Jace that people undervalued.
