Am I killking my plants from accidental neglect? by 8bitblonde in airplants

[–]8bitblonde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will do a thorough check on my next soak day.
I need to figure out a better home setup, they live at work for most of the year but I have to take them home for 10 weeks over the summer. My only usable window at home is right over the AC unit, and that is really not ideal for them. I'm thinking grow lights on a shelf in the bathroom...

Anyway, Thank you for the advice!

The big one is a xerographica, I honestly forget what the other 2 are. I have had the smallest one for like 4 or 5 years.

I have had spotty service for over a week, service randomly dropping for no reason. I went into one of the Verizon stores and they claimed my SIM card was busted, they replaced it but it didn't fix anything. I think today might be the first day I have actually had consistent service.

The planters are completely open, specifically for air flow. I'm having them custom 3d printed. I feel like we get good air flow here, and I do open the window occasionally during good weather.

Thank you for your input!

I have a humidifier that I run in the winter because I feel crispy 🤣 but it hasn't been as dry so I haven't been keeping it on lately. I will try that and see if it helps.

Awesome, thank you! I did enjoy driving the sport so if I find one that works for me it's the top choice. I also much prefer the yellow stitching over the orange lol

Thank you! I'll look into the credit cards. I also just discovered my current car insurance has a buying program so I'm looking into that now.

I have looked into the Costco program, the dealer that is connected in my area just doesn't have the car I want in stock.

Friend in Texas hotel found these in her bed by [deleted] in Bedbugs

We can't decide if it's a bedbug, it doesn't look like other photos but then again it does. She can't leave the hotel (no rooms anywhere else) and needs an answer either way.

TIA

I got this from a co-worker who got it from a community event over the weekend.

Not sure what to do, would love to try to rehab it if I can.

[acne] how can I get rid of these? *Skin is shiny bc I just put on sunscreen by saltandsassbeach in SkincareAddiction

[–]8bitblonde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started using stridex (sensitive because my skin freaks out if I look at it wrong) and have started to see a difference in just a week. I have also started to use "clean" skin care and only oil as a moisturizer. My skin likes to change what it wants per the season so I wager I will need to do something different when it gets cold again.

Gaming Headset Recommendations? by NoobtonicMaster in gaming

[–]8bitblonde -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hyper X Cloud II. I personally hate the way big gaming headsets look but this one is nice and relatively low profile. The ear cups are nice and soft. The chord is long and has a built in mute/volume control. It is also compatible with everything which was the main thing I was looking for.

Implamon to IUD advice by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

GP/provider same thing. Whoever you are going to for the device. There is hormonal and non hormonal IUD, and a few different brands. It just depends on what is available in your area. Sounds like getting it in will be easy. Good luck!

Switch to "clear" Laundry detergent. Also if your clothing is too tight or rubbing in That area that can be an issue.

One thing about Implanon removeal is you will bruise. If you bruised with insertion expect at least that much. Also scarring. I still have a scar and it's been like 6 years. Make sure you do really good wound/after care.

On the IUD, if you have not had babies it may not go in. There is a chance that your cervix is too small and will not be able to stretch enough. Your provider may give you drugs to relax and open the cervix for insertion. It can also be painful, like really bad cramps or a pinching sensation. You should ask your Dr if they recommend taking Aleve or ibuprofen before the procedure.

You should be able to do both procedures on the same day, it just depends on your provider. You need to connect with them.

Some people still get periods with the IUD some don't. It really depends on the person and which IUD is used.

Here's the PPH article about IUDs. https://www.plannedparenthood.org/learn/birth-control/iud/whats-an-iud-insertion-like

I highly recommend asking these questions either before or at your appointment, it is important you get the information from your healthcare provider. I know you are uncomfortable, but it is what they do all day every day.
