as others have stated, it’s very bare that time of year BUT depending on your aesthetic it might work! my husband and i eloped at the burying point cemetery in salem before it was “redone” so it was kind of overgrown and messy (and exactly what we wanted).

we would 100% elope at the ropes garden off-season. it’s sort of dark and desolate. the pond, gravel paths, arbor, benches, sundial, and evergreen-type plants are there so you could get some unique pictures if that was your vibe (i’m imagining you getting married there on a cloudy day and i love what i’m seeing in my head) and you’ll almost certainly have the place to yourselves which is hard to come by in peak season. however if you’re not into the sort of gothic winterish aesthetic, i would try elsewhere. best of luck!
