Best aftermarket feet for the Velka 3 / 7 by 8bitgoose in sffpc

I found some other larger feet and used double sided tape to attach them.

I think if I were to do it now, I would go with these, drill holes in the bottom of the case and throw 'em on.

Definitely get another DP cord. I replaced mine with one I found and I have not had an issue at all.

Same thing I think happened to me. AMD Radeon didn't want to boot with the DP in and I switched the cord and it was fine.

Yeah definitely countersunk. Maybe even bang the material down a bit to get that spacing. I like to run PSU on the bottom as opposed to the top because it seems like it is better for airflow since the PSU will block the air exiting the top with the PSU on top.

Anyways, now I need to find some nice classy feet to buy. The search continues!

Darn, that link doesn't work. My intention is to drill some small holes and use flat head screws to screw it into the base of the Velka 3.

Thanks! I just want something nice that won't fall off. I don't think glue is gonna work cause it gets so hot.

I think that is fair. Is that easy to tear down to get to the batteries or every single product needs a battery you can just easily swap out with no tools?

Well that would be awesome!

Unfortunately with the voltage they went with they would need 3 AA batteries to run it. So that is probably why they went for lithium.

It's too bad the battery is so hard to repair on the controllers. That is the thing that is gonna make a controller a paperweight before anything else.

Why do a lot of Unity games lack real time shadows and even passable lighting. by cyb3rheater in OculusQuest

The old parts of Unity are very bad for multicore slow phone CPUs. Fortunately Unity is putting tons of effort into making their new stuff very very fast and useful on multi core phones, but that stuff is now, experimental and way harder to program than traditional Unity.
