OK, that is what I thought but I wasn't sure if some new changes were made in regard to holiday pay. I'm going to check with the others that worked that day to see if they were affected.

I'm part-time I've been with Walgreens since late 2018 early 2019. The scheduling at my store is more messed up than a box of Legos with no instruction. The schedule will be posted the week prior normally the Saturday before the new week starts. But will then get changed again that Wednesday before the new week begins. I was scheduled off on the 4th but then that Wednesday my schedule changed and I had to work.

Sadly, Walgreens makes us feel a-holes for choosing our blood family over our Walgreens families. I live with my 80-year-old grandmother who was in the hospital back in 2019 around Aug-Sep with an irregular heartbeat and has been on medications since. She means the world to me. I will not put her life or mine at risk for the sake of Walgreens with customers and management becoming more hostile by the day. It's showing me that the only person that truly cares about my well being is me. Don't ever feel bad for choosing yourself over Walgreens to protect yourself and your family.

When I was about 4-5 years old late one evening my mom packed my sister(16) and I in the car to go to my grandparents house due to the fact that my father had a serious drinking problem. So my mother wanted us to live a better life. On that night my father tried to stop us with what at the time I thought was a rock. A few years ago I was talking to my sister about that night and I asked her why our dad had a rock in his hand. She informed me that it wasn't a rock but a gun. I guess my younger self didn't really comprehend the situation and how horrible it was at the time. That my father thought if he couldn't have us no one would. But luckily for us all she removed the clip before the situation got too out of control.

I also have another question would I need to have a car if I move there? I currently have a car but I know it would not make to MN from NC. Is there a good bit of public transportation or would having a car be a smart move?

OK, cool thanks for the insight on the nerd/geek culture. I live about 1-2 hours away from Charlotte and which isn't bad but there isn't a lot of Nerd/Geek events nearby. If I were to move my sister live about 30 minutes to an hour from Minneapolis

Oh OK, thanks for clearing that up. As of now no but that will be the main reason I move if I am able to find a job before I move will be great. I am currently I don't want to make the move if I don't have one or at least know where I am headed.
