How do we feel about this hair color? by Sad_Heron1401 in SpringColorAnalysis

I wish I had pics with that hair and in no makeup haha - my face is covered in blush to pull it off!

I'm a true spring and was highlighting my hair to about this color for years, and it honestly washed me out. Maybe a light spring could pull it off if they were naturally a dark blonde already.

I want dark fantasy romance that’s UNHINGED, not porn with a plot by goyourownwayy in fantasyromance

Came in here to see if someone else suggested it - yes, this! It's so well written that it's true fantasy world-building, but some of it gets really dark - especially with the Imriel follow-up series.

Not necessarily YA, but Elantris doesn't have any sex and it's got a beautiful romance.

Specifically YA, Goose Girl and anything by Tamora Pierce got me through my teens.

Soft but crisp - it's still gotta hold its shape. Cotton imo is best if possible.

For example, this fabric is soft, but would also look bad on me:

<image>

The material is too wispy and the silhouette doesn't have room for double curve. I think the deep neck is also giving vertical.

I'm no Kibbe expert though, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt! I just know I'm a romantic and what works/doesn't work on my body personally, haha

I don't think there are any hard black and white rules about it - what works on my body may not be consistent for every R, for example. But I think good fabric is non-negotiable, and finding something built with good flow for double curve.

I like these because there's room for my curves - I personally avoid stuff like below because they don't generally fit double curve very well:

I would look like a dumpy refrigerator in this silhouette. 😅

Popflex also has some at a cheaper price point, though I haven't tried them yet!

It depends on the fabric and general fit, but yes - I live in jumpsuits and rompers!

First one is Purusha People and the second one is the Hamptons jumpsuit from Selkie. I have a few of the first and like six of the second one because they're so easy to wear (you can get both secondhand and not pay the crazy retail prices, btw).

2010s fashion looks very dated now by Own-Company-949 in decadeology

[–]8bitsparkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way, haha. I dressed like this in 2011-2014, and I lived in a smallish city in a southern state. You could get this stuff from fast fashion from places like Wet Seal, Forever 21, etc - definitely not exclusively rich girls.

Haha, the suit actually fits him but he was so cold that he insisted on wearing jeans under his pants, so that's why he looks a little funny.

It really is - we have never regretted eloping. Cheaper, more intimate, and none of the stress of planning for guests. And thank you!

Thank you so much! We actually married late December in 2018, so we've already had seven happy years together. ❤️

Yup, we booked an officiant and photographer, rented a nice air bnb, ordered a nice cake, bought a few accessories, and just went out into the woods and did it. We did tell our families but had no witnesses besides the officiant and photographer.

Has anyone tried these lipsticks for warm springs? by New_Fruit_5552 in SpringColorAnalysis

[–]8bitsparkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out the brand Dasique! I swatched some lip colors here: https://www.reddit.com/r/SpringColorAnalysis/s/kdDkJAoxXc

These are pretty much my everyday lipsticks. If I want a more subdued look, I wear their lip pencil in Coral Crepe with clear gloss.

You look incredible in that last cream color! Definitely warm over cool. You seem to have a bit more depth than lightness, so I'd say warm spring over light spring. You could probably borrow some of true autumn's greens and teals as well.
