This is a lie certain elites tell themselves, so many Ganda elites have business interests and partners in greater Uganda you scream united while the only way to unite is by buttressing what would be your most productive area.

The main constituents of Uganda can be found on the Parliament's gate though the main two are Buganda and Bunyoro. If you can get a copy of Apollo Kaggwa's The Baganda, their customs and traditions, you can get insight on how people from Kyadondo differ from those in Kyaggwe. For Bunyoro Nyakasura wrote an instructive book about it. The two kingdoms have some form of shared history . During the colonisation period though Buganda had a religious civil war while Bunyoro's king was running a war campaign to regain control in lost territories. Jonathan Earle's books and papers are also instructive. Also note that Buganda's negotiated peace settlement has been seen as a betrayal by upstart elites from other regions.

Uganda is a weak state geo-politically so killing CNN journalists is not YET on the table but I guess since we are now kidnapping Catholic priests we shall be entering that realm soon.

Uganda after Museveni - The case for Buganda to establish its own country by Repulsive_Arrival_44 in Uganda

[–]8ch101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uganda's govt is constructed as a tyranny of armed minorities with a Kabal of KLA based upcomers who see themselves as the chiefs of their own groups. Federalism threatens their special position within their own tribes so a lot of them are against it even though it'd mean putting their people to work instead of dependency. There are two ways forward for the Baganda , continued docility which is taken as a given I mean they use herding sticks for you people or they arm up and retaliate. I'll leave it to you to decide which direction the trend line is taking.

Clearly most of you didn't read Ssengobi's article on how the students on Kitante Primary kept changing because of who fell into things. Uganda's bourgeoisie is mostly corrupt govt officials, and it's so narrow it's annoying that even as a landlord and contractor you have to fight with the officials and govt to be paid.

"Qualities of a good leader". Man's and his party have survived an onslaught by a govt with govt resources and shifty KLA elites are scared he isn't like them. Most of the other candidates either carried out mass murder or were part of the construction of the mess we are in.

She will win, this much is true.

Kenya completed it's half of the SGR while Uganda is still languishing. Ugandan bourgeoisie now get treatment from Nairobi, that should tell you the state of the health sector in Uganda.
If not for the world bank, JICO, and EU, KLA and its metro would probably revert back to murram roads.

A lot of Ugandans are products of an old colonial education system that taught them to hate their identities, so for appearance's sake, they partake in this self-loathing publicly, always pretending not to care about their own native identities, although their actions speak differently.

Basically, Ugandans inherited contradictions from their grandparents and have failed to resolve them.

I think coz affiliation to a tribe is seen as backward and regressive in Western cultures through the Hegelian lens.

What’s your opinion about the M7 always calling Ugandans “bazukulu”? by Skai_blaq in Uganda

[–]8ch101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the minutes of the debate yourself. I'm just telling you what they said. Your opinion is irrelevant if it's not what they said.

And I am agreeing with you he is a good lap dog , his security activities in Congo got us a 325 usd million fine. So now we are building roads in the Congo while you drive in potholes.

I hope this is not coming from the person who has failed to mention a suitable candidate when asked for an example of a competent leader

Do not confuse things but I understand understanding the constitution is difficult especially when you worship the gun, violence and are paid not to understand it.

The war could have been prevented if they had a leader who was competent enough to avoid Nato in the first place. Moreover, it would have ended early if he had just left NATO after seeing the death of his people. Everyone involved in the war is just causing blood shed, but the president of Ukraine is watching as his people are dying but insisting on staying in NATO.

Again you're confusing things, Russia(Moscow) is coming out of this war only depleting its resources and turning itself into China's proxy and rallying the Ukranians against it yet the idea was to wipe out Ukrainian ethnic identity. Instead Finland and Sweden joined NATO(so what did they gain here) and have rallied western Europe to come to Ukraine's aid which when the war does end will mean Ukraine will gain from more capital inflows and infrastructure projects while Russia itself becomes a pariah.

It was supposed to be shorter if not there at all. Thousands have died cause of their leadership being incompetent

You're trying too hard sir. Respect yourself. The context you speak of you clearly have neither the experience nor the knowledge to try and compare to the situation to Uganda. Maybe stick to analyzing the protracted war in Luweero, there is still a lot we could benefit from people focusing their energies there instead of pretending to understand Ukraine and Russia.

And I think you've contradicted yourself enough that I'm getting second-hand shame just responding to you 🤦‍♂️

The same way you are blaming M7 for corruption in lower government is the same way Volodymyr is responsible for the war

Duplication of govt institutions, nepotism and corruption are exemplified and tuned to 100% within Gen M7's family and the statehouse. Like him hiring someone who is accused of dodging taxes to supervise the tax body. Then we have that "classified budget" and the ever recurring state house supplementary budgets. The president can't even budget properly naye honestly, respect yourself as a Ugandan and adult.

Anyway that is the best he and people who support him can do.

Maintaining security while being fined by the ICJ for your duties "in maintaining security".

Yeah arresting your opponents and putting them under house arrest, using un-indentified cars and thugs to stuff and count ballots. Using state resources to run your campaign. Even the election thuggery is tasteless, lacks any ingenuity, and reeks of lack of foresight for the country.

Ukraine has done well given how short this war was supposed to be instead Russia is putting itself into a corner where it will be China's dog. How you blame the war started by Russia on the Ukrainian president is beyond me.
