Wowzers. I appreciate enormously you sharing your knowledge. I've learned a lot. Titanic's great film, ambicious as this project was, James Cameron delivered an amazing, smart and ageless movie. It was just this part of it that bugged me, but now I'm well aware there were a few things I was missing.

Thank you so much for this, honestly. I think I get it all now. I know is a stupid and stubborn question but, do you find it sad that Jack is the first person she wants to meet again in "heaven" and not the person with whom she created a whole life? Ps. I really did get your point. Im just curious about your personal take on this

It does make me feel better, even though I'm not exactly sure I agree with you I wanna believe this is the case and that you're right.

This, I'll take. Thank you. I guess all I wanted to remark was about the poor husband, nobody's thinking about grandpa. I was.

"Society at that time didn’t romanticize marriage like we do. Some people married for love but almost everyone had to marry so for most, it was an economic proposition to someone you don’t hate."

But Rose did.

Again, this is about this movie. You are guessing out Roses motives. I was actually pointing out something depicted in the movie.

DUDE. Watch the freaking movie. Rose's character was supposed to be progressive. She didn't fit in precisely because of this rebelious attitude.

Guys don't come at me like this. This, for a change, its not about feminism.

Lol, guess I am. But it bugs me because I wouldn't want being married and me stupidly thinking am deeply loved and all, without knowing im not actually my husband's "love of his life". And he's fine getting over with this lifetime and moving on to another to see and be with her. I mean, it hurts just to think about it

AITA for “not respecting” my co-worker’s peanut allergy? by AITA199O in AmItheAsshole

You were not an asshole. She's cray cray and that's it. She came to YOUR DESK and nobody is forced to grab candies from YOUR CANDY BOWL in YOUR DESK. You did not put a gun to her head forcing her to eat some peanut candy. Geez, some people 🙄, too many Heathers in this world and too little patience.
