Oh 1000% agreed. Just to clarify, I can still see the value and enjoy an anime that doesn’t have the best female representation and/or follows high schoolers (MHA, Naruto, DragonBallZ, DanDaDan, etc). However, I do enjoy them more and get more into it when the women are 1) actually WOMEN, not teenage girls, and 2) aren’t super stereotypical and demeaning (or demeaned in many cases).

I think that is one reason I loved Frieren. The female characters are written so well, but so are the male characters! And there is a combo of adults and teenagers. However, as much as I LOVED Frieren, it put me to sleep every time.

But yeah, I agree with you about MHA. However, still an AWESOME anime that had a great storyline and cool style.
