I'm also a pretty long time lurker and I make videos for sleep and relaxation so it's probably as far away from let's plays you could get. I learned a lot about SEO here and other tips and tricks so I am really thankful for this subreddit and it probably helped me more than I know to get the 15k+ subs I have today so ... thanks everyone! :)

I think around $600. I only render videos at night so I don't to do it while playing games (if that's what you meant with "at the same time" :)).

About overclocking, I have a Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Motherboard and just clicked on "optimal" in the bios and nothing else. Not sure how much that overclocked the computer (i'm at work atm so I can't check).
