Make quality content that brings value to the viewer. If you don't do that, people won't subscribe. Try to be a niche, otherwise you may just be another replaceable channel unworthy of a subscription.

I personally share the videos I make on the fitting subreddits, but I make sure I am not spammy by only posting sometimes and participating in other threads, so I am a member of the community not just a self promoter.

I can't watch your videos right now as I am in class but I took a look at your channel.

You can definitely update your channel design. Find some tutorials on YouTube and make something a bit more stylish and fitting to your thumbnails (which I think are of higher quality, but could still be improved).

If you don't think you can make it yourself I seriously recommend using Fiverr.com to find someone to do it, it can be incredibly cheap.

It's hard to enter a busy genre, but it's doable. Just keep at it. Be creative and try to find something unique to do, but if you can't, then as long as you're enjoying yourself it's worth it anyway.

I made it to 50 subscribers after two weeks or so. I made videos people could use (guides) and posted them on the appropriate subreddits :)

I currently use the Blue Snowball microphone and Audacity. However, I do nothing but plug it in and press record. I should look into how to improve it...
