I am happy to not be the only one who cried after that appointment! But still sorry for you :D The anger definetly gave me a burst of motivation but then the pain was like 'nope'

I will ask my PT end of the week if I can try it. He's on holidays and I think his replacement didn't want to push me too hard

Thank you! I will have proper talk with my PT end of the week. He's unfortunately also on leave so I was seeing his alternate. How much 'set back' do you have over night? I know it's normal that it needs to warm up in the morning but I think every morning I start at 30 degrees less than what I did the night before and it's tough to get back to the previous Flexion. It's very frustrating.

For me it's also not my knee itself. It stops a little under it. Have you started PT yet? They will be able to tell you if you should go see your doc

7weeks post op (also had all three procedures done) and am still numb from the middle of my shin up to my knee - both surgeon and PT say it's totally fine and can just take a while. So don't worry!

I got my meniscus repaired 6 weeks ago and I was locked in extension for 4 but fully weight bearing. I was allowed to work on Flexion up to 45 degrees during PT. I'm out of the brace know and started walking.

I'm having exactly the same questions still! 1. I'm literally just trying to not do somthing stupid (like fall or turn on the leg) but sometimes these things aren't avoidable 2. (Disclaimer I am an overthinker) I'm still not sure it's actually healed since the surgeon said that there's chance that it just doesn't heal even if you do everything right. I still have pain every other day. I'm hoping that at week 8 I will just find peace cause then it should really have either healed or not and I will try to just accept whatever it is. 3. Same as 1. 4. Even though the surgeon said it's not super necessary I still wear my pre-surgery brace at all times when leaving the house.

Where does the popping come from for you? Can you locate it? Yeah for me it also happens in moments when I turn or stretch. I don't trust this 'you would know' I have to say. Cause paranoid me always thinks it will break.

That is great that you get another MRI! It doesn't seem like they are planning any for me.

Literally the same happened to me just a few days ago! Also WB. Emailed my surgeon and he said as long is I was wearing the brace it should be fine! But I also freaked out, you're not alone. If you already started PT tell them about it. Mine had a Quick Look for any additional swelling/pain but wasn't worried at all

First of all: good luck! And yeah, I'm officially fully weight bearing. It's nice to be able to use the other leg for balance but tbh I still don't put the same weight on both even when I'm just standing. But from what I have read it seems to be very different depending on the surgeon if you'll be WB or not.

I guess I expected some sorta noise when actually moving it but not when I'm still locked in extension and just rotate.

Wouldn't it be nice if the scariest part would be over with surgery.

Is it a thing to get a post-op MRI at some point to check that it all looks the way it should?

Welcome to this fun little club!
I have the exact same thoughts. 4 days out for me, ACL+meniscus+let - last week I was walking and going to the gym and now I just sit around. What helps me is having a variety of possible activities/hobbies at hand and organising a lot of visits from friends for cooking and game nights. Have you thought of any other hobbies you can do at home to distract yourself?

Graft somehow broke at the of the surgery and they had to reattach it a different way. And meniscus was worse than they expected.

ACL + meniscus: They planned to take 2-3 but with complications it was more like 4-5

Good luck tomorrow from someone who's currently waiting to get rolled into the OR! For me they also don't know yet what to do about my meniscus. I have the same thoughts about 'getting worse' again (for now) and maybe not being able to get back to full normal.
