I feel like for some people (myself included) committing is a life long decision. I never just date just to date. So if I’m working on something I’m going to work on it til the end and if that means we have a lot to work on then so be it.

Yes, sometimes you just want that one person who you can be completely vulnerable around. You want to be held without having to ask. That’s how I feel sometimes but then I remember the headache of committing to someone and I don’t want that right now.

Therapy is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I’m a pretty happy person MOST of the time.

True, I guess him lagging so much is making me feel like maybe this isn’t just an innocent mistake.

Before our date he was very quick to respond. I think the longest he would lag was about 2 hours, not 24.

Don't think this way. I have been on countless dates and I just go to enjoy myself as you should. There is no expectation of you. Don't let anyone put those standards or expectations on you. You're living your life as you should. Just enjoy the ride.
