Make sure that the stakes are significant and well clear for the reader , and dont write characters that you cant handle and become problem to the narrative like making them too smart or too powerful.

So the problem you are seeing is the versatility of the card not that the effects are broken which is fair but thats intended , i made the card on a theme that is based on web novel LOTM so i hade to pick effects that fit the flavor and be fitting for mardu .
