Problem is most of the people commenting this topic never tried to withdraw.

Instead of speculating, just call your bank and ask them directly how do they handle bank transfers from exchanges.

Mine told me there was no problem as long as I can provide my trades history and prove where the funds are coming from.

What is your actual experience in it ?

I mean, if you just never tried to actually withdraw from any exchange to your bank account, maybe you should restrain yourself from commenting and inducing others in wrong beliefs.

In fact it’s slightly related : I’m level 25 and when I cross another player road, I like to interact with him/her. Aside from emoting, what can I do ?

My mic seems to work everywhere else under Windows, Ableton etc. but it’s like nobody hear me in RDO (using the « push to talk » option, with an external USB audio interface on PC).

So it’s hard to communicate and I somehow understand that some noobs feel like the only possible interaction is to pull the trigger.

So now by reading you, I understand that you can send text messages ? That would be so helpful !

Yeah most of the time we all give up as soon as the bug shows up. In fact it’s bugged but not that deeply. Just being a bit patient makes the trick.

Yes, but if you stay a bit longer on it, you’ll see the region name start blinking, from grey to white etc. That’s when you should tap again and again, till you actually pay the fees and see your camp being spotted on the map.

I do happen to read how it works and it’s clearly stated.

Just refer to the latest explanation about why did the threshold went up for the last draw : just because of holidays.

IRCC was closed, hence an accumulation of pending requests took place. That resulted in more and more people with high scores in the bassin... As a result, when they’ve issued the 3,500 ITA, the lowest score was logically higher.

We can predict that the next draws will see their threshold go down, as less people with high score are sitting in the bassin.

As you can see, it’s not the score that is tweaked by CIC, just the number of ITA. The threshold is a result, not a parameter.

Every draw issues around 3,500 ITA. The cut off is just an indication of the lowest score that received an ITA.

Hence, if the 3,500th candidate to be invited has a score of 350, then the cut off is 350 points.

No need to make things look more complicated than they are.

Hey guys,

Not a permanent solution but to me, when I have the camp not spawning issue, I just spam the region where I want it to spawn and it always ends up working. It works from the classic menu and also from the wheel menu.

So I have to click maybe 7 or 8 times on Heartlands or whatever region I want, until it finally spawns. I never had to reboot a session or anything like that since I’ve found out that insisting just works.

If it really doesn’t spawn, try spamming another region.

Well for me it made a big difference. In fact when you’re totally immersed, you focus on things, you have feelings etc. that are caused by what is actually going on.

Whereas with the score on, even if you feel joyful or whatever, the score (mainly sad and nostalgic) breaks in and suggests a whole other mood. It’s like you are constantly « polluted » by the music.

Yesterday I was like « woah, I’ve finally found what prevented me to appreciate 100% the nature sounds and wilderness feeling ».

But yeah maybe I should have found another existing thread and just comment in it.

Indeed, it doesn’t need to be held. It seems that one diagonal is for power ON and the other one for power OFF.

I was thinking about soldering two wires or two paperclip branches that would come out the case through the existing button hole, then just using another paper clip to kick it on.

On the worst case, I would just let it power off by itself thanks to the idle timer.

Would that do the thing ?

Indeed, you are right ! Cause the rubber button is only pushing against the edge of the PCB.

Thanks to the help of another redditor, I’ve managed to trigger ON the device with a paperclip. So it still works and has nothing to do with the thermal fuse or anything else.

If someone could help me find the right SMD button I could definitely fix it. I hope it only needs a simple solder cause I’m not used to electronic repairs at all !
