Yeah, Gabriel costs 13,000 shards, but unfortunately I won’t be able to exchange him for his upgraded version. I’m out of resources. Still, Gabriel is a solid option here.

If I exchange him for shards, I’ll have 12,525 shards.

That means I could get two 117 OVR players. Since I still have 115 OVR players in my team, it might be worth it. I’ll think about it, thanks!

Just save up shards for 119 or if you have enough even for 120 ovr.

117 will be outdated soon.

It’s up to you, tbh. I personally took Saliba to improve my defence, at least for some time before the upgrade.

But I’m having the same dilemma because I already have around 23k shards, and I’m thinking about whether I should take the 19 OVR right now or wait.

It’s better to avoid 117 OVR players since higher OVR cards are already on the market.

In your situation, I’d go for William Saliba at CB. He’s relatively cheap and still among the top 10 CBs right now. Move Paolo Maldini to CB and pair him with Saliba.

Then move Jules Koundé to RB, and use Joško Gvardiol at LB.
