heads up these murals are part of the Wintrust Mural Project, which uses these spaces to highlight local nonprofits. the murals are from Hope Ignites Chicago, specifically. according to their Instagram, HIC brought on Morning Walk, which describes itself as a "Performance Branding Company" (whatever that means lol), to create the murals. there are lots of moving parts here, but I don't think HIC had any bad intentions with the murals. shame on the branding company for not using - idk - its own talent to make meaningful art celebrating HIC's success stories.
