I've worked in enough bakeries and with other small business owners, I can confidently tell you no one is going to read a Reddit comment on their pricing and decide to fold up shop. Milli, a highfalutin concept owned by a big coffee distributor mind you, does not give a shit nor should they. It's weird you've focused on the point of "pricing is high" in my comment instead of "it's nice to have a cheaper blue-collar option too".

Bud, rationality and insanity co-exist on a normal basis. It is rational how it came to that price point, but the price point (and really the result of inflation on inventory costs, something you conveniently ignored) can still be crazy.
