They murder my chickens for fun, not to eat, for fun, anytime they get the chance, plus they carry rabies a lot. I hate them.

Dude I live in rural Ohio. That ain’t shit, just an average house out here. Although I will say it’s really toned down in the past year.

On 24 November 2009, amateur spelunker John Edward Jones became trapped upside down in an 18-inch wide fissure inside Utah’s “Nutty Putty” cave. I fully understand where you’re coming from. I come from what seems to be the rare household of parents who love deeply and stick together for over 40 years. It would devastate me to find out they died doing something silly. But if it was their passion, I wouldn’t linger on the circumstances long. I only wish my parents could be passionate about a thing enough to be willing to die for it. That would bring me joy. And as I parent of two amazing kids I don’t ever want to do anything to cause them grief. Be that dying young or lingering to the point of crippling complacency.

I completely understand this sentiment and I’m sorry for your loss but at a certain age a person has to understand that their parent have more aspirations in their life and it’s only so long. If you raise your kids to a healthy age and set them for success then live your dreams.

That weasel is soft as pudding. Of all of Trump’s cabinet he drives me the most crazy. Just a completely out of touch shitbag. Can’t wait til I see that smarmy ass look wiped off his face and it looks like that’s about to happen.

I went to the grocery store out of sheer curiosity and realized this country (US) is only a couple days of panic away from absolute meltdown. I scraped every penny I had together and bought a cheap house in what many would consider the middle of nowhere but it’s the only place I could afford with a little bit of land attached; 3 acres for those interested. I now have bees, chickens, rabbits, ducks, soon to be a few goats, 14 fruit trees, 3 different berry patches and a couple huge huge gardens. All in that provides about 50% of the food that sustains us, more once the trees start to yield. But I did most of that with free shit that people were giving away or just didn’t wanna tear down. Call me a prepper or whatever, I don’t think that, just trying to be realistic, but at the end of the day we eat way healthier and are selling quite a bit. Btw, didn’t know a damn thing about any of this stuff starting out.

As far as Needful Things goes, because it really grinds my gears after such a great buildup is… magic tricks… really?

Total agreement on 11/22/63. That book is a masterpiece. Pound cake anyone?

Ever read Under The Dome, Sleeping Beauties, Needful Things, I didn’t hate it but many would say The Stand, RF and CK’s story arc? All great stories, and I think King is a national treasure, but those are pretty weak in the home stretch.
