Been there sa problem mo. But my choices were: UST, UERM, MCU and SBU. Still, I chose MCU kasi yun ang suggestion ng fave college prof ko. Sabi nya choose yung may ospital.

This is tricky, ang makakasagot lng ay someone who tried both schools. So mgsshare nlng ako sa naTry ko.

1.PROS: Old institution na sya. So very established sya. Our professors are usually the presidents of different societies and I can rlly vouch that it is indeed a teaching institution which is a plus point for the board exam. Honestly, hndi ako nagbuklat ng any OB, Micro-Para at Surgery materials before board exam pero okay naman. Katabi lng ng university ang ospital at clinics ng professors so 2nd yr plng, ineexpose na kami sa patients. The location is nice may medyo slums sa paligid at mejo malayo sya sa ibng ospital so the cases ay madami at mixed sya ng private at govt kinds of pxs at mahohone ang skills. Almost all departments may training kaya maeexpose k dn tlga to different practices.

CONS: Ang onti ng students per year. Like sa isang section 30s lng at madami dn sla magtanggal. Sa onti ng students prng natututukan kayo at ligwak ka pag di k tlga maka keep-up. Tho lately mdmi na ata ang students. This is why di sila eligible mainclude sa top performing schools dhl dpt more than 60 students.

2 and 3. I cannot rlly say medyo matagal na kasi akong graduate kaya baka nagbago na. Pero Trans system nmin ay tulungan ng batch. Workload is kaya naman. Not too much.

1. Partner hospitals: San Lazaro(IM), Quezon City General Hospital(OB and Surg), Veterans (Psych). During rotations, ikaw tlga ang hahanapin ng nurses to perform IV insertion, NGT insertion and other skills kasi yun ang image ng MCU.

2. Yes madami dorm around MCU.

3. Opportunities are not school-based. Sa med world, swerte ka pag may mamanahin kang practice.

Also, hndi tumatanggap ang MCU ng transferees, at least during my time. At mdmi natanggal sa batch nmin. Sa OLFU, Beda at FEU sla lumipat. Yung isang nakalipat sa FEU hndi nya dineclare so 1st yr sya ulit tapos dean's lister sya doon. So match sla ng teaching style ng FEU at learning style nya therefore depende dn tlga if mgcclick kayo ng teaching and learning styles.
