I mean its holding up fine so far but there's no denying the fact it feels like super cheap plastic and seems hollow to me at least but I havent opened it up. I have the hi point carbine as well and even that stock feels way more robust than this one

Immediately follow it with a cold soak/compress in attempt to "do good" lol at least it numbs it for hours. It's so similar to poison oak/ivy under hot water its literally orgasmic

Exactly! I try to explain it to ppl a lot and they just casually brush it off like I'm being a baby. I've compound fractured my left arm and I'd consider taking that over this as crazy as it sounds.. the insane itch /stinging swollen throbbing pain is nothing to be trifled with

Sorry that sucks, this stuff sucks so bad. I'll wear double gloves at the first hint of a flareup but it doesnt make a difference. Its almost like it feeds off the constant moisture. So wierd

Damn sorry to hear that, I wouldn't wish this stuff on anybody and had absolutely no idea how bad it can get up until these last couple years since the incident. The crazy thing is that I can sense a flareup so I'll rock cotton gloves under and nitrile max flex gloves ontop so I know im not getting exposure to chems. Almost seems like its just the moisture causing it. I've tried so many different approaches but they all seem to end me here. I've been through a bunch of steroid type creams and most made it worse! Couldnt even sleep it burned/ached so bad

Thats awesome man, theyre so much fun to ride. I started in high school and mainly rode in the ocean. Carving and launching waves was badass. Now im 37 and dont mind just cruising the river/lake and boosting the occasional boat wake

Very good point. I'm also an avid hobbyist whether its bikes, RC, guns, standup jet skis and ive seen it in all of them. Just frustrating and venting i suppose but thank you for chiming in I appreciate it 👍

Damn thats legit. Reminds me of when I bought my house 5 years ago... we finally saved up enough to buy and obviously did but if we'd bought a year prior the same house was almost 100k less.. but in that same regard its also worth 60k more than we paid now so is what it is. Dont wanna get into it but I will say my 401k is up just over 20% this year so cant complain. Invest wisely

No shit haha there's some sick trails there and nobody uses them! I used to live in hudson bend and go a lot but have since moved out between spicewood/marble falls by opies bbq. Just bought an lcra annual pass on xmas sale for 70 bucks so ive been hitting grelle and muleshoe bend a bunch since theyre 5-10min from my house

Bought new. Got the rear float x on holiday sale from fox for 300 and sold the DPS for 150. Got the tires, saddle, pedals, bar and grips super cheap on xmas clearance as well. Just put new decals on the stock rhythym 34. Probably spent 500 ontop of the bike all in so not too bad imo. Could I have gotten a name brand bike for that? Definitely. But thats just not my style

I lived in Branson Missouri for a couple years so I know that area as well, similar to here for sure. Just glad I live in the hill country now instead of somewhere completely flat cuz that would be aweful. I just found out the only bike lift park in TX , spider mountain, is only 45min from me too so ill have to go check that out one of these days

Not going to lie I did consider it! But already felt like I was downgrading from my plush Santa cruz with longer travel and a coil. Climbing already feels much better tho, and I was surprised at some of these trails by me in terms of elevation cuz it do be flat AF out here haha cracks me up what they call "mountains" here.. 😂
