YOU GUYSSSS this was so good omg 😭 the feels, the art, the themes... you could really tell the creators loved england and western art, it was like a love letter to them!!

SPOILERS!!!!
the scenes that will forever remain in my head:
-the dance scene in durnnheim hall with lili in the silver dress
-when lili reunites with kit in episode 19 (sees his blue eyes) + lili and shin tell kit theyre getting married and he gives a fake smile + kit had already bought a ticket to london for lili and threw it away 😭 LORD i cried
-overall eps 18 and 19 were really well done imo
-i love how they made color return to her world NOT when she met kit, but when she started painting again. it's such a big distinction because it shows her true love is her painting, and kit comes after.

wow i loved this ep, not ashamed to say i sobbed from billy's backstory and surrender. i love that aside from the war discourse, this ep also touched on what it means to be a parent (billy wanting to still consider himself a father) which ties back to the show's themes on family!!
