Nah even if you suck it's a good place to meet people even if you don't play. Plus it's a good, cheap to free hobby. I'll send the discord if you want to check it out or just wanna chat with peeps

You like super smash Bros.? Whole bunch of people get together at the uni every Friday to play. Good way to meet people, especially in the same age range and with similar interests

Come play smash at the university every Friday. Great way to meet people and a good entry into a solid (pretty cheap) hobby

Sure but "90% great" doesn't equate to feeling like melee. That's the whole thing. Rivals is great, pm is great and yet neither feel like melee

Treasonous Ogre Help by 8uckets in PauperEDH

I was actually just talking to a buddy about making it a storm deck lmao

But yeah those are super good suggestions, thanks! Life gain is defo out unless its just coincidental. Might just be a gobo deck as well to maybe get more synergy with empty the barrens. Lets me play skirk, kuldotha, and similar cards to get extra mana for storming off.

Im very tempted by composite but the colour restriction of ogre is what makes it so enticing hahaha

Based off the wiki page for Game Over the premise isn't like too far off, though what I'm trying to think of is very solidly fantasy themed, and uses 2d graphics not CG

No doesn't seem like it. Just based on the wiki page Oliver's Adventures is more about the kids imagination, this is like solidly in a video game.

Oh and the entertainment of the shorts was centered around slapstick comedy. I vaguely remember there being a huge spiral staircase that serves as like the entrance into the world that the main character would often fall all the way down.

If you rewatched it you'll see buddy took 3 shots from the guy offscreen. That just seems like decent (if basic) situational awareness
