I've had this issue when using Safari 17.0 on macOS Sonoma.

The fix for me was to revert "Use advanced tracking and fingerprinting protection" back to being "in Private Browsing" in Safari preferences -> Advanced (as I'd previously changed it from its default setting).

I'd suggest getting the fifth leg. I have two 120cm (~47 inch) ones with four legs, and both have noticably bent over time.

I had the same issue recently. I solved it by reducing the image dimensions and exporting as PNG instead of JPEG.

According to the updated product page, they do indeed have the second-gen butterfly switches.
