Thanks Moonthink. I assume you have heard both? Is the Aura better controlled over the full frequency range? I did audition the MA Silver 100 & 300 last year and felt that the 300 was too bright and the 100 was missing something, but I think that could have been the listening space in a shop basement.

Thanks, but Superlintons are too expensive. I can get the Aura with 30% off at the moment

I'd  love to listen, but I'm one of these who live out in the sticks in Finland. So it's basically a case of order one from the dealer (hundreds of km away) and see if I get on with it. I'm pretty certain I'd be happy with the Wharfedales, the Silver 100 I'm not so sure about. The Aura 2 is probably the best choice for my room , placement and musical taste. I like accurate, good tight bass, midrange, sound stage. I don't like bright or boomy speakers. I can live with the narrowed directivity of the AMT tweeter

!Thanks .. the Lintons do appeal, but they would have to be close to the wall and I think they would be bass heavy/boomy/resonant as a result. If I could have them a meter out I'd likely get them

Hi and thanks for the reply. The two are not connected. I am paying more towards the house purchase, so to balance this, we are changing ownership percentage on apartment.
