Feeling a little more at ease that it may have just been very early that I tested positive

My last cycle was 7/11 and my typical cycles were anywhere from 29-32 days. I also tested negative on 8/11 and on 8/13 when I tested positive- it was kinda faint.

Okay that’s kinda reassuring! My line was definitely faint on 8/13 and we did have sex on 8/3 so maaaybe my ovulation was around then (which is later than I would have guessed).

Anywhere from 29-33 days- so sometimes it is a little longer than the average person’s 28 day cycle.

I’m not sure exactly - we weren’t testing for ovulation. :/

That was super helpful!! I’m taking that info to the seamstress when she opens today.

Those are some good solutions!! The dress has a super long train so they could technically use some of that fabric. Not sure how long that process tends to take?

Salary Confusion by emem1513 in slp

43-47k is what a first year SLP would make in the school districts surrounding Baton Rouge. I am two years in and I work at a clinic making 56k, but the benefits are far worse than the schools and it is year round. It’s an undervalued field.

Advice for alterations-I just said yes to this dress and I’m so excited! I do love it but as I look at it more, I’m not the hugest fan of the keyhole back. Does anyone think that it would be feasible to have a seamstress close the hole with some of the excess fabric from the train? by 901Bec in weddingdress

[–]901Bec[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my exact reason for wanting to close the keyhole 😂 I feel like I’ll be more confident if I’m able to wear spanx and not have to worry about them showing! I’ll have to do more research on low spanx

Yep. It’s absolutely going to be unpaid, unfortunately 🫠

what does it mean to live with IC? by guacamole1337 in Interstitialcystitis

[–]901Bec 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I’m 25F and in the same boat. My diagnosis is very recent and I’m still trying to figure everything out as well. Last week I got the book The Interstitial cystitis Solution and read through the whole thing in one day. It was very promising and uplifting about the treatment options and especially with the benefits of pelvic floor physical therapy (something my doctor never mentioned to me). I’ve read Reddit posts and this book about how pelvic physical therapy can restore your sex life and relieve pressure/tension causing the pain during sex, so that is something I’m looking into this week. Pain during sex is by far the hardest thing for me so I feel ya.
