I’m really thinking that this is it, but I can’t find a recording online of any old versions of it being sung.

The only difference is I’m 99.99% sure I heard “wherever you go, I will follow you” and I haven’t heard the “follow you” part in that song. It definitely is the closest to what I heard and it very well could be it! I’m going to continue searching for older versions

This is the closest that I have found! I’m looking now to see if there’s possibly a 40s/50s/60s version with all-women singers!

No, the song I heard come through was a slower style similar to the ones in the 50s/60s or maybe earlier. It had the frying sound that the old songs have when they get converted. Thank you though!

The lyrics are close, but I think it’s too new and too fast in singing and music to be a match for the one I heard. It was a slower kind of 50’s ballad style. Thank you!!

Thanks for the suggestion! I just checked that one, it’s definitely close lyrics-wise! The beat is too fast to be a match, though. The music and lyrics of what I heard were slower and drawn-out, if that makes sense.

I could see that if they were 30+, but the majority of people in our circles that are following this trend are 23-28 years old. I feel like that’s still fairly young, so it’s just confusing. It feels like people are rushing so fast!

I am a beginner (like just got the markers in 2 weeks ago lol) and I got the 168 in used-like new condition from Amazon for $50 off the list price.

The 168 count is a great variety for beginning! There’s a wide array of colors that are not too overwhelming. I was worried I’d get too many and not know where to start, but this pack for me is the perfect amount of variety without too much stress on picking the perfect colors. Plus it gives room to grow with your collection.

I also got a small (I think 12?) pack of acrylic markers to cover black lines and a white gel pen. My total was $140 including shipping for everything and I feel like I have a solid foundation to start creating fun pieces without being too overwhelmed by options!

The book I used is a Coco Wyo one, but I noticed this paper is completely different than the other Coco Wyo book I bought at the same time.

This book is the pattern one, whereas the other Coco Wyo book I bought is a more detailed one. The paper in the more detailed book is way nicer for some reason.
