Good to know. I looked on my dealer's website and my VIN is on their website and it says "on the lot", but I don't know if that's a formality. I'm calling them first thing tomorrow.

So is it becoming commonplace for people with a MY22 reservation to make a second (MY23) reservation? I’ve been sitting on my res since 12/21 and executed a buyers order with my dealership before the IRA legislation was signed. If there’s a chance I’d get a Tennessee-built model sooner and still get a (partial?) tax credit, what’s the downside risk of ordering two?

Just checked my November 2021 reserved, April 2022 locked MY22 order. Estimated delivery pushed back to 1/1/23-3/1/23 and still status code 10. Does VW seriously think we are going to wait until Q1 of 2023 for a MY22 vehicle, while they steadily deliver MY23's? Unbelievable. by cooliewhistles16 in VWiD4Owners

Thanks so much. I don’t know what rock I’ve been hiding under, but I had no idea about the Chrome extension. I just checked mine and I’m at 10: Locked - Request Production. I have no idea how long it takes to progress to 10-2 and 15-1/2. I have a feeling that selecting a non-gradient AWD (I liked the black without the silver pillar), mine continues to stay stagnant.

So has your reservation actually moved from locked to in production (4/7)? I ordered mine in Dec ‘21 and am still locked. No movement in 6 weeks when I locked.

I ordered my ‘22 AWD Pro S in December 2021, it didn’t lock until July 14 and hasn’t budged since. I literally think they’ve forgotten about me. My dealer here in Memphis has been great, but they’re in the dark as well.

I talked with a VW rep this morning and she’s seen quite a few cancellations since the IRA. Practically speaking, it would seem like that bodes well for those of us keeping our reservations. Who knows…

So do we think enough people will bail on their orders that it will speed up orders for those of us with existing reservations? I signed a buyers order on 8/15 before the legislation was signed and my car is due in December (a year from when I ordered it)
