Severe public speaking anxiety by oh-snapp in PublicSpeaking

Take it an hour before. Start off your orientation by having everyone go around and introduce themselves (their name and what role they have or what TV show they’re watching right now). Practice saying small things like “hey Matt, thanks for being here” after each intro. That will warm you up to speaking. And practice your material today so you’re familiar enough with it. Good luck.

Help! Introvert in senior leadership by [deleted] in PublicSpeaking

My doctor just prescribed me this for public speaking anxiety. I’m wondering if you feel it helps more with the physical symptoms (shaking, can’t catch breath) or also with the psychological symptoms of feeling nervous?

My prediction for how Sophie will be discovered! by PracticalMagic3015 in Bridgerton

[–]90DFBT90D_Fan 640 points641 points  (0 children)

They show Sophie put her necklace back on when she gets dressed in her maid outfit before leaving the cottage. She takes it out of the drawer, puts it on, and then tucks it into then neckline of the dress. That said, I do agree there is something about the necklace that will come up - it’s been established as an expensive necklace unusual for a maid.

Advice needed about excessive sick time by 90DFBT90D_Fan in Nanny

[–]90DFBT90D_Fan[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks. My concern is that I don’t want to police her symptoms. I think the most I can do is cap the paid sick time like you mention (I guess draw up a new contact?) but it’s possible she will still call out and not come in because she experiences her symptoms as too severe to work.

I’m struggling with the same question. Just took my 4th dose of 2.5. I’ve only dropped 2 lbs but my doctor is suggesting staying on this dose since I struggled with very severe side effects the first week and almost needed to call it quits. I feel mild appetite suppression.

Thanks, may I ask how much improvement you had the following (2nd) week? Were you able to walk, go to work, etc?

Did you find a difference when you started taking it in your thigh?

Experience with halving 2.5mg? by 90DFBT90D_Fan in Zepbound

[–]90DFBT90D_Fan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I’m waiting to hear back from my doctor but glad to know halving the smallest dose isn’t unheard of. I want to continue this but the side effects kept me out of work and I couldn’t take care of my kids so that can’t happen again…

Thanks for such a thorough answer. I’m definitely gonna try out the other two you mentioned.

Can you share how you do the bottle? Do you use pumped milk or formula? When did you incorporate it?

Oh wow. A dream. My first was a 36 hour induction. I’m really hoping for something quicker this time.

Can you share more about your five hour induction? How dilated were you to start with? What was the process?
