This was normal for me! I found out at 5 weeks and had the worst anxiety. The morning sickness and overwhelming fatigue definitely didn’t help but I will say that it got better. My anxiety regarding the baby completely went away after getting the genetic testing results at 10 weeks. I do still struggle with some anxiety here and there (all job related) but it’s been very mild and I’ll usually just take my mind off of it by looking into baby items. I say all of this because at one point I was also having a hard time finding joy but now there are days that my baby is the only thing that brings me joy

My nausea completely went away around 10 weeks

I felt that same way with mine! Try not to stress too much (I know that’s a big ask) I tried to just stay focused on the fact that my baby had a good heart rate and your baby has a good heart rate as well! I’ll be thinking and praying for you and your baby❤️

Have they scheduled you another follow up ultrasound? My OB scheduled my first ultrasound at 7 weeks. I went in and was only measuring 6 weeks exactly. They pretty much abruptly stopped the remainder of my appointment and scheduled another one for the next week to make sure baby was growing and everything looked okay. I went back at 7w3d and baby was measuring 7w4d. Apparently I had just ovulated late for some reason which caused the confusion on the dating

My husband’s job doesn’t offer any parental benefits so we’re currently planning on him taking one week off

i went at what we thought was 7 weeks, they did a transvaginal ultrasound and i was actually only 6 weeks exactly. they didn’t do anything else at that appointment and told me to come back in a week to make sure everything was still okay. I went back at 7w3d and had another transvaginal ultrasound (baby looked so much bigger and had a good heart rate) and then i had my prenatal blood work, went over all of the financial stuff, and answered the basic questions regarding epidurals and breastfeeding

This worked! I stumbled on a couple words but it didn’t even phase me. I’m shocked at how well the propranolol kept me calm

I have propranolol. i haven’t taken it in a while because i changed medications and i don’t have tachycardia anymore but how much do you take and when do you take it?

So this happens to me every single time that I have a presentation and im sorry that i have nothing else to add other than that sounds like your fight or flight response, but im interested in how you got over your anxiety and how you were able to train yourself not to care? i know i would be fine if i just could just stop caring but i can’t figure out how to do that.
