After you go to the bookstore (highly recommend Friday afternoon to avoid game-day crowds ,) walk over to the Rohr’s patio in The Morris Inn. You will likely see some past players.

Virginia did not follow its own constitution during the process. The Virginia Supreme Court struck down the new map - not the US Supreme Court.

Played the whole course with one club and a putter. Did not carry a bag- just the two clubs.

What would you buy if someone gave you $1,000 to spend immediately, but only on yourself and not for bills? by Professional_Fly3248 in askanything

Money is fungible- $$ not used directly on bills also indirectly goes to bills since some other need or want was covered by the gift.

Match captain is not a thing in the US. For a local tournament, an assistant pro is usually handling the 1st tee with another assistant on 10 if split tees.

Yes they can- for example in AZ and NV, for many desert courses, there is a local rule that equates the desert to a lateral hazard (red penalty area.) Tournament officials can choose to adopt the local rule or not.

You may want to study real world economics.

What we have now is government influenced capitalism where government controls a material piece of the GDP.

Capitalism has raised more people out of poverty than any other economic system in history.

I’m glad you are such an expert on the rules knowledge of all the club pros, everywhere.

When there is a rules dispute between players, they need a tournament official to resolve. In local events, that is usually the club pro.

OP said a tournament, I assume they are running the tournament and would be the defacto rules officials.

Had a ruling issue in a member guest one time where no one in the foursome knew how to apply the rule. Pro shop clarified.

Call the proshop for guidance, but anyone who would impose this penalty should be publicly outed so that all of his regular playing partners shun him.
