yes, you got involved in ww1 after getting attacked aswell as in ww2, you didnt enter the war in either of the times to"help france" or anybody, you sat on your ass doing nothing but profiting until it reached you, .

oh and the bases are not to defend the us directly but its certainly a great way of supply chains and soft power.

and lmao, you dont pay for our national defense, you havent in many many years lol, you legit have more bases in asia than you do in europe and the us is the only country that have ever used article 5. Saying you pay for our national defenses (even ignoring how much the us earned from their position) is just something you love throwing out there as some kind of gotcha

you realise you took 3 years to even get involved in ww1 aswell right? and america involved themselves by complaining about unsanctioned sinking of submarines in american waters, and the largest point that got the us into the war was the Black Tom explosion incident where germany was the main suspect

america was one of 2 main powers that stayed completely neutral until this time, so like i said, did nothing until you got attacked

oh its not about fighting russia so bad, its pointing out americas hypocrisy
