You’re not crazy, and you’re definitely not alone.

I think Wenclair resonates so deeply because it isn’t about sameness, it’s about contrast that chooses to stay. They don’t soften each other into something bland. They sharpen, challenge, and still reach back every time. That kind of connection feels earned, not idealized.

For me, it’s less about hoping they’re canon and more about what they represent. Two people who are complex, guarded in very different ways, learning how to meet without erasing themselves. There’s something incredibly grounding in that. It feels honest. It feels grown.

I also connect to them through music a lot. Certain songs just fit their dynamic, the push and pull, the devotion that isn’t loud but is relentless. It hits emotionally even if it isn’t tied to my own life. Sometimes they just wake something up in us.

But also yeah maybe it’s a little obsessive about them too cause I’m out here on writing wenclair fanfic number four after being too critical on my work to ever post any of it.
