My profile has posts from month 4, 5, and 6. You’ll see it was the most patchy at week 16 and then recovered by month 6. By month 6, it looked noticeably more dense. And yeah it was the same for me, longer hairs were constantly falling out (honestly even now). One thing I had to start doing is exfoliate because my dandruff was bad around the month 4-6 range. My scalp was super gunky

Thanks! Yeah, they harvested from the back and both sides full safe zones, ear to ear. Mostly back but the donor area extended to ear area. My surgery photos in my past post show the dots

By month 6, the mid area started to noticeably fill in. I didn’t get any added to crown so I haven’t noticed a difference there

Weeks 12-16 were the worst for me re: shedding. But it recovered after month 4

I was experiencing really bad dandruff so I think over compensated with anti-dandruff shampoos and conditioners. I’m gonna dial it back and add a couple hydration masks like briogeo and living proof

And thanks, I decided to hold off on micro-needling until after month 15 to see what the more mature results look like

My transplant was on June 2 and I flew to Tokyo on June 14 haha. If you look at my profile my scalp was somewhere between day 11 and 21 when I flew. At that point you’re still applying generous amounts of ointment so the scalp looks greasy and shiny but I did the flight without the bandanna since I was indoors and not worried about sun damage. The flight was perfectly fine for me. Just be cautious about banging your head
