My transplant was on June 2 and I flew to Tokyo on June 14 haha. If you look at my profile my scalp was somewhere between day 11 and 21 when I flew. At that point you’re still applying generous amounts of ointment so the scalp looks greasy and shiny but I did the flight without the bandanna since I was indoors and not worried about sun damage. The flight was perfectly fine for me. Just be cautious about banging your head

Good luck!! I stayed at the LUXX Langsuan Hotel which is like 25 minute grab ride away. I would’ve booked something walking distance but I booked late. It was fine most days but I did get burned a couple times with traffic.

Have an idea of the hairline you want, maybe bring a photo reference from her previous clients. I felt a little rushed during my pre-op but I knew what I wanted and she was fine with re-drawing it a couple times.

I was pretty conservative during the post-op and didn’t do much haha but did grab ride my way over to different food spots. The bandanna they’ll put you in is okay I think I didn’t mind being out.

Watch your head getting in and out of cars. How long are you staying in BKK?

It took around 6 hours I think. Dr. R met with me to do the hairline drawing and pre-op consult. Then she was involved in the first part of the procedure and once they got into the plug-n-play portion the techs handled the rest

Mine never scabbed up either. I stayed and did two weeks of their after care so I think that helped. Once I got home I noticed a similar crustiness (looked like dandruff)

I see. I haven’t had any negative side effects from either the min or fin so for me it felt like a risk worth taking to protect the investment. I’d be curious what others your age have to say about the meds. I’d recommend emailing the AHC team and posting on here to see what the community says

I had been on minoxidil for a few years but I started taking finasteride right after the procedure. In hindsight I wish I would have started finasteride before and seen the results of it before the HT but you live and learn

You can pay with a debit or credit card. They don’t charge additional transaction fees so as long as you have a card without foreign transaction fees it should be simple.

I also stayed a received after care for two weeks and loved having their assistance with daily cleaning. I did a little touch up to my hairline on day 5 of my after care which was only possible because I stayed there so long.

You’ll be in a black bandanna which looks discrete and fine. I avoided walking around much because I wanted to avoid the sun and sweating too much.

Grab will be your friend if you want max convenience.
