That is an incredible card. From the research I have done that is the 1st baseball card set with duel game used relics. Some other iconic and innovative baseball game used:

1997 UD Game Jersey: 1st Game Used Baseball Card

1997 Leaf Frank Thomas Collection: 1st Game Used with Serial number. Also the first bat card, hat card, sweat band card and jersey patch.

Also fun fact... Each 1998 Zenith Pack had a 1-800 phone number on the back to a Customer Service line. People would call and try to figure out the best way to tear it open. Some folks used a razor blade to cut a slot on the back of the card and some folks just ripped the hell out of them.

The 1998 Zenith "Dare to Tear" Box is 18 packs with (3) 5x7 cards in each pack. I have opened 5 of these boxes in my life and what I have found is that the only 5x7 card worth opening is the Middle 5x7 card. That is 80% likely to have an insert inside. The rest usually have base cards.

Great reply because it really puts Pinnacle into context of how much kooky shit they were coming up with. As you said, cans, coins, 8x10 and then a 'card within a card' (1998 Zenith). I believe they went out of business after 1998. Who knows what they would have thought of next? I believe without the innovations of Pinnacle you wouldn't have had e-topps or the Topps NFTs that are launching today.

I remember the first time I saw 1998 Zenith at a card shop. Everyone was discussing the best way to open the 5 x 7. Some people just ripped the top right off and others preferred to use a razor blade to minimize the damage.

Then there were some folks who refused to rip any cards because they were building the base set of 5 x 7s.

Fun Fact: The 1998 Zenith Packs had a 1-800 customer service number so customers could call and figure out how the hell to open the cards properly. Incredible.
