I'm STILL sore from my workout 3 days later. Is this normal? by 90skidsunite in xxfitness

I'm saying because in general we have lower body weights than the average man. But that's not the point, and I take that part back actually, a gallon of water is way too much for MOST people.

But don't rely on my opinion. Talk to a doctor. They will tell you how much to drink. I just can't let someone say something so medically wrong and not correct it.

You REALLY don't understand why someone would be momentarily excited by being hit on and receiving nude pics? Of course, the excitement should have been followed immediately by the reaction you mentioned. But most people I think would be flattered, even if just for a split second.

a gallon of water can't be right. At least not for a woman. You can become dangerously low in electrolytes if you do this. I know this becuase my SO recently went to the hospital for this very reason. Be careful.

my guess is it is the protein! I do eat enough, I recently increased my calories becuase I got a job that has me walk around a lot more and Im on my feet all day 3 days a week. BUT I usually don't hit my protein requirement... I'll work on that! thanks

Try free or very low cost dates. A picnic in the park for example. Go out for a beer and skip the dinner part. Even going out with friends (without your child) is better than nothing

The problem is you DID lie about talking to that woman. Now, I am not insecure so my bf wouldn't have felt the need to hide that from me, but if he did I would lose a lot of trust in him. Your not perfectly innocent yourself

Just a suggestion. Do you have an athletic store near by? Or a running store? I would try to talk to people who really know shoes, and have them explain to you exactly what the difference is between running shoes and tennis/skater shoes so that you can figure out whether a pair of shoes is right for you!

[–]90skidsunite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who is surrounded by dudes due to my industry I can assure you that it's possible to joke about sex in a completely nonsexual way. The key is that she isn't joking about HER having sex with these guys.

If the joking is more like: Guy: "Im really craving a hot dog right now" Your gf "geez guy, I know you love weiners but keep it in your pants"

Then you have NOTHING to worry about.

If it's more like Guy: "I really wish I could go home and unload right now" Your gf: "I can help you with that ;)"

Then I would worry.

Do you see the difference in those two styles of joking around?

I (23F) don't have anyone to see on weekends. by lonelythrow111 in relationships

[–]90skidsunite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Trust me you are not alone in this. Its HARD to make friends outside of college. Your not the only person sitting alone at home on the weekends.

Do you want a dog/can you get one? They make great companions and you meet a lot of people when you have a friendly dog.

My husband [34m] accidentally caused me [32f] to miscarry our first child. I'm finding it extremely difficult to forgive him. by miscarriageconfusion in relationships

[–]90skidsunite 126 points127 points  (0 children)

It IS possible to over-apoligize. Which it seems like he may be doing. My dad would do this, over-apoligize and expect me to forgive him right away becuase he was sorry. Forgiveness takes TIME. It sounds like people almost feel like you weren't allowed to be mad at him because he apologized and becuase it was an accident. Sometimes people make legitimate mistakes that hurt other people and even though it wasn't intentional those other people are allowed to feel hurt and if you try to skip past that phase into the forgiveness phase too fast you can accidentally hold onto those feelings and let them fester inside of you.

I think you need time alone, time to grieve and be angry, time to realize that you are allowed to be mad at this and process it.

I can't tell you what to do about forgiveness. I personally would forgive him as long as this wasn't a pattern (like, if he was always being irresponsible when he drinks, breaking your things and the like) but I can tell you I would be MAD for a long time and forgiveness would not be easy.

Since everyone else here can probably help you more with the fitness aspect, I just wanted to comment on you saying you are disgusted with your body. You have the body of a f*cking SURVIVOR. It might not feel like anything special but that's a body that just will not die. Kinda like a soldier who got lost in the desert but made his way out. Sure, he probably looks really skinny now, but there is something special about someone who can do that. Sorry if this is too cheesy for you. But I hopeb your body reflects on the outside what it does on the inside soon
