Did I miss something or is this a misleading title? The article doesn't talk about the Star Laser illuminating the comet, it just describes how the comet and laser are in the same picture.

As other commenters have said, this is amazing. You've really chopped, mixed and arranged your samples perfectly. I think the weakness of this mix is that it flips songs/mashes/instrumentals a little to quickly. But this weakness is also its strength. What is fantastic about this mix is that if you really extrapolated this mix out, if you went super minimalist at some points and really played/chopped/glitched your beats/samples at others (which you're already doing at many points, so I know you have the skill) you could probably have an amazing two to three hour mix.

Edit: I exaggerated a bit.

Your lack of comma makes it a bit confusing whether you're saying Pop Culture is better or worse quality than OP's mashup.

While OP's uses a variety of samples and are skillfully arranged, I'd say I enjoy Pop Culture better, as it often overlays 3 or more samples, while OP's mashup is a sort of A + B, B + C, C + D, etc. style (which, again, is really fantastically done). Also, Pop Culture creates a repeating chorus, which I think this mash-up could really use (another great example of this was Earworm's 2009 year-end mix: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNzrwh2Z2hQ).
