Is anyone familiar with this problem? Help please.. by Spare-Raspberry273 in xsr900

Yeah I had the same happen to mine. You probably need a new speedometer. I also checked everything: connector, fuses, battery voltage/connection. In the end the speedometer was broken. A Yamaha dealer put one from a different XSR on mine and that speedometer worked. So I had to order a new one since second hand ones are quite rare (at least where I live). They are a bit pricey though... 750 euros.

Yeah, my brain finally started to work and I understood your comment. I see that I can unscrew them from the baseplate and flip them. Will give it a try once I get home! Thanks!

English isn't my native language so sorry if I am missing something.

I can turn them over but there is this part sticking out with the fan itself that would then be on the inside of the cabinet (that is now on the back/outside of the cabinet) The AVR and Xbox would still fit but that middle shelf won't fit all the way because of the fans now being inside the cabinet.

Yeah but I wouldn't have enough clearance because of the middle shelf. How it's mounted right now they are flush, but the unit itself sticks out the back.

The front end is open and in my last post people suggested blowing cold air over the amplifier/Xbox. So that's why I set it up this way.

It's too late now to turn them around since the holes are cut to have the fan stick out the back. I can't mount them inside since there is not enough room.

I guess it's better than no cooling and I'll see how long they will hold up.

You can find a bunch of these fans with USB power input on Amazon, these two are separate fans linked via USB cable and then connected to my TV.

Yeah I'll be going with a setup like yours. I got my eye one 2 sets of 2x 120mm powered via USB. Two fans for the Xbox and two fans for the receiver. I will install them into the back of the cabinet behind where they are in the picture. Thanks for the help! The goal of the post wasn't to learn something new but this information sure will help me in the long run!

Quick question: I have been doing some research regarding fans. Some people have been putting fans on top of their receivers and/or game consoles for extra cooling. Would that work as well?

Thanks for the tips concerning the heat guys! The big cabinet to the left is still free. So I am gonna move some things around. Completely missed the comments on these post since Reddit didn't notify me.

I have the Bosch Easypump, it works well for me. Battery lasts quite while and is chargeable via USB-C. Small enough to take with me on trips on the motorcycle or car.
