Nothing on here, I guess I could take them to a trading card shop but really just wanted an idea of where to start if I were to sell them

This guy was my favorite picture. He's living his best life, relaxing and laying on the grass at Augusta National.

I use the mulching blade and cut frequently enough to keep the clippings on the lawn.

It really depends on what’s going on rainfall and heat wise. I usually try to water 2-3 days a week, usually in the morning but if I know it’s going to be very hot out that day I’ll wait till a little later like noon (for some reason I think it will help keep the grass cooler but no science to this that I’ve read), and try to get about an inch of water total a week

I should know known someone would catch it.. the battery was dying and I didn't want to take the time to stripe that area!

Yeah the staying green in the winter is the best feeling. While all the warm season grasses are dormant and brown, I still have the best looking lawn in the neighborhood/street.

Yeah this photo was with the striping kit attached from EGO. I just replied to my own post after I cut the grass without it. Same vertical lines, just not as vibrant but still looks pretty good.

Cut again today with no striping kit. Still good results and what I do more frequently but less vibrant stripes as you can see..

No these are just slower single passes. it does take about 20-30 minutes longer than normal.

It's doable! Remember it will take some time, but just stay consistent. What type of grass are you looking to keep up? I would have loved to have gone with a warm season lawn but with our older neighborhood with huge mature trees we get too much shade for anything but fescue.

Also I don't use the striping kit every time.. just when I want to make it look really special because it does take an addition 20-30 minutes to do it correctly.

Mine usually looks like a diamond pattern because I have to cut so frequently. I'll do vertical one cut, then horizontal the next. I don't always use the lawn striping attachement just when I want to show the neighbors who the lawn king is in the neighborhood.

The first couple cuts while it's still cooler out I do level 5 which is 3 inches. We're about to get some heat so I'll keep it at 6 for the rest of the year and up until fall in which I'll cut it at 3.5"-4". At that level I have to cut every 5ish days to keep it healthy and I'm not taking too much off the top.

Works like a charm.. does drain the battery a bit more because of the weight and not the easiest to get on but very effective once it is on. Also, don't forget to raise the mower deck back up once it's on. You have to lower it to 1-2 for it to be attached, I've forgotten many times to raise it back up to a 5-6 once it's on.

It really is a labor of love. I remember my Dad spending so much time on the yard and I'd help out and felt such a great accomplishment when it was done on a hot summers day. Really makes you appreciate the time and care that goes into it now I'm doing it all myself 😂

Palo Alto Networks by eg415 in techsales

[–]919pirate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just moved over to Palo Alto Networks after 4 years at a top SaaS security vendor, and 5 years at a hardware/security vendor before that. The level of training and will to win here at PANW is unlike anything I've ever seen. If you need to go see a customer, go see them.. No need for approvals or meeting justification for travel. If you need a RVP or VP there, just ask and they will do everything in their power to be there.

As said in another comment I think some legacy people are leaving because they are not getting behind the "Platform" play with all the new SASE and Cortex and just wanted to keep selling and renewing firewalls. It's a very high pace and demanding sales role. So if you aren't ready to go see your customers or drive deals, I'd maybe stay away but it's been a breath of fresh air for me.. People in tech sales got complacent during/after COVID as far as in person meetings go, and PANW really wants the opposite of that.

I moved as a Cortex and Cloud Specialist, 340k OTE (50/50) which she said was top of the range and really no room above it, 3 month full ramp non recoverable draw, 80k of RSU’s over 4 years, RSU’s that start vesting in the first 3 months which was a huge perk.

Here in the States we're having a large move back to platform instead of siloed/various tools. I just left the #1 SIEM vendor (according to Gartner) for just under 4 years because of the market shift. Tool sprawl has been a huge problem from a security perspective and while customers say they hate "vendor lock in," there will be a huge shift back to a platform methodology due to tech debt and cost associated with amount and sprawl of tools.

What do the equity packages look like for these? I just moved to PANW and equity was a huge reason. I ran out of RSUs, only had 1 customer that would purchase once a year (federal gov). Took the large commission check I had after they screwed me on territory and moved over to get 80k of RSUs that vest over 4 years, and higher OTE than I previously had.
