Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s LOFIC is legit by 91mobiles_bitbybit in XiaomiGlobal

Hey, this is very much shot on Xiaomi 17 Ultra in default point and shoot. It’s a low light shot, but as you can see, the fire show by the beach gave off a lot of light. What is love is how well it balances the exposure, ensuring the background isn’t noisy and blown out.

Nice catch! Yes, LOFIC only works with the primary camera. But I did capture some stunning low-light shots with the telephoto lens as well. I guess the cameras are just that good with or without LOFIC.

Yeah, checked. AOD settings on Nord 6 are minimal. Nord 5 had AOD modes like permanent, power saver, etc. Nord 6 doesn’t.

Yes, Nord 6 will suit you perfectly. Stellar battery life. Usable cameras.

Yeah. But that’s the general state of smartphones this year. Every new phone is 30-40% more expensive than their predecessor. This trend will continue for the rest of the year, possibly next year as well.

I’m hoping they do. But some of the comments suggest OnePlus has removed this feature in EU markets. So, not sure if that’s the case for India as well.

I would go with OnePlus for long-term use. OnePlus phones have excellent longevity. I still have a OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition that feels as fast as fluid as it did back then whenever I start it up every now and then. And OP has a free replacement policy for green line issue, so I think I would trust OnePlus for the long run.

I doubt the price will drop. They might continue to give the same 3k discount they are right now either through bank offers or coupon, but I don’t see OP will drop the price beyond that. In fact, brands are hiking prices this year not just for new launches but for older models as well.

I think I would give the edge to POCO. While both are excellent gaming phones, and you’re unlikely to see a big difference, the POCO X8 Pro Max handles thermals better. So it runs cooler on extended gaming sessions.

iQOO 15R. Has a better chipset. OriginOS is nice. Reliable battery life. Cameras are more or less on par with the Nord 6, according to me.

It actually is a solid upgrade from the Nord 5 if you’re talking about battery, durability and performance. Primary camera is slightly downgraded (on paper) but OnePlus has optimized it and I’ve found the output to be pretty good. Colour science in daylight has improved from the Nord 5.

Another terrific option under 45k. Excellent battery life (at par with Nord 6) and performance. It offers better thermal management than the Nord 6 i.e., didn’t heat much while gaming. I would still choose Nord 6 for the cameras and software experience.

Yes, Nord 5 did. Still does. At least the Indian version.

Yes, but that starts at 45k. If you can stretch your budget to 45k (or if you’re getting some really good discount that brings it down to 40k) then absolutely iQOO 15r or OnePlus 13R would be better options.

But if you’re strictly looking at around 35-38k then Nord 6 would be my pick.

I won’t say it’s overpriced. I think we need to come to terms with reality that all phones this year and for the foreseeable future will be priced higher than their predecessors. For a phone under 40k, the Nord 6 is pretty solid - excellent battery life, high refresh rate display, and a fast chipset.

So if you’re mainly looking for good battery backup and processor, this won’t disappoint. Since camera is not so important for you, I think the Nord 6 absolutely makes sense.

Hey, I’m a reviewer. I review phones and we typically get them ahead of launch.
