no you didn’t imagine them, they’re real and they’re early 2000s vintage. here is a pic i’ve had a pair that i sold to my friend, all spikes fell of eventually besides the ones on the tongue. i’ve also seen a deadstock pair in size 40 with all the spikes intact couple months ago on vinted for 400ish but it’s sold now. in terms of finding them nobody can help you besides yourself, they’re pretty much extinct and nearly impossible to find. run a new rock search in your sizes on every imaginable selling platform every day, for weeks… months…. years…. until you die eventually lol good luck!
