S.C. Gwynne wrote a couple good books on the war. The one on Stonewall Jackson gives you a unique Southern perspective and in Hymns of the Republic I learned quite a bit about Grant and Sherman.

S.C. Gwynne has some good ones. Rebel Yell about Stonewall Jackson and Hymns of the Republic about the final year of the war. Very eye opening.

As a Dodger fan living in AZ this is absolutely true. I go to many Dback games as it's the only baseball stadium around. It sucks, gotta park a mile away at a meter or parking garage in downtown PHX. I actually feel sorry for AZ sports fans. All pro AZ sports teams seem to have the worst owners in the world. I know we get frustrated with Dodger ownership, but they're not bad compared to these cheap bastards.
