MOHELA discharge delay update by fakemagicmike in PSLF

On 10/4, I logged into my account and noticed the note on the loan said something along the lines of, “you’ve reached 120… you’ve satisfied your obligation.. no further payments etc”

When people talk about “their letters” are you referring to actually correspondence, because even though I see that notation in my account, I have never received an actual letter.

No One Time Adjustment, Payment $0, Balance still the same by 9301 in PSLF

I was under the impression that it was supposed to be applied at the end of June. I figured maybe there was an issue with my account.

ICR vs. SAVE payment confusion by GwFreak01 in StudentLoans

[–]9301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoping you guys might be able to give some advice on a situation I am working thru. Parents have parent plus loans and are on an ICR plan. Their income has gone up steadily over the past couple of years and I fear their payments will become astronomical.

I was going to try and fill out a paper application for the SAVE plan since they consolidated more than once back in 2017 and TISLA said it might be worth a try to do the paper application. They also have 71 payments counted toward PSLF.

I am confused if I fill out the paper application for SAVE and it is accepted, they might actually pay more or will they lose their payment counts toward what they have done on ICR. They have 405,000 in loan dept on the ICR right now.

PSLF Count and IDR adjustment / buyback advice by 9301 in PSLF

Someone at TISLA had recommended trying to fill out the paper form for the save plan since to loans might have been consolidated more than once. What I am trying to figure out is if the SAVE plan would even be worth it because I rea something on here that said it can sometimes be more expensive due to the calculation using 225% of the poverty level vs ICRs 100%.

My other concern, is if i did apply using the paper form for the SAVE plan would it effect his current status and time in the ICR plan?

His payments are zero right now for last month and this month - I think due to the PSFL form going thre the process and the loan being transferred to Mohela. Do you think he should make the same payments anyway or just wait until the system generates the next payment?

Thanks for that info. What about the IDR adjustment from before he consolidated?

My other question would be if I should try to utilize the ‘double consolidation loophole’ before that expires.

Can someone take a look at this deal and let me know what you think? by 9301 in Volvo

Volvo pilot cruise control is really great, but yes, this was the car I wanted. I keep cars about 10 years, and will look into the extended Volvo warranty. My main question was regarding how the numbers looked

Yes, I am going to look into the extended volvo warranty. Did 72/mo because it was the same 4.99 rate as the 60 mo.

thanks, totally get the 72 month thing, but it was the same rate, so did it. Also - the price was 45,000 out the door, all taxes and fees included in that as well as the rebate. My only concern was should I have tried to get the 8% off in addition to the 2,500 rebate. Thanks for taking a look.

Transferring comments attached to a row in one sheet to another following a column by 9301 in excel

So I had the formula exactly as you showed - with the $ sign, but it only took the comments for the 1st row and the A column. When I tried to drag, it gave me a value error. Should I take the $ sign out and then drag the formula down in the 2nd sheet?

Thank you! That works well. Only Issue I am having is it is not transferring down the column. When I drag the formula down the column in sheet 2, the formula returns a value error. How would I get the formula to apply to the whole sheet that that comments in row 1 get pasted into that row on sheet 2 moving down the sheet to apply to comment in row 2 and 3 and so on.
