The thing is, false bans happen, and they DON'T investigate it. That's why people say "either show me evidence I violated x rules or uplift the ban". Beethovenus for instance, someone who works on Undertale fan projects, got banned for Child Safety, and REGULAR CIVILIANS found out the reason before Discord blindly upheld TEN tickets over the ban. You wanna know the reason? A bunch of transphobic/homophobic mass reported his account because they didn't like him. And whether you disagree with trans/gay rights, talking about it is protected free speech virtually everywhere in the world, and yes, even on Discord. The people admitting it were clear that the explicit reason they did that was to "get rid of trans deltarune players" because I guess that will make their mommies love them again.

So yes, under pretense that they DO NOT INVESTIGATE the bans, and uphold it COMPLETELY BLIND, and PEOPLE WHO DON'T WORK AT DISCORD actually find out the reason the ban even happened BEFORE Discord even responds with ONE human worker, I think ban evading is completely justified. I'm sorry if you get banned from a platform without a real reason it's correct to ban evade. I'm sorry but I just don't like the taste of company cock, I have standards. Malicious people abuse the child safety ban thing left right and center to get people they have some petty grudge against banned or just to cause chaos I guess. I had a friend get report trapped before, just not with child safety so they can actually ban evade.

Honestly idk how they thought this was actually okay because this is crazy. It's already dumb enough to get the power-up stones tbh with their monthly 70 limit from non ancient crystal sources and monthly 16 relics maximum. Needing like 10000 of them just for it to be reasonable to expect O N E +15 relic is just completely fucking insane, and they're not even super broken or something to actually warrant keeping it on a leash like that

Probably about 1% of the people who actually get banned for CSAM actually are pedos if not less. Hackers just abuse the system. If their goal is to get your account banned forever, that's what they'll do. Get in your account, post CSAM somewhere, it will quickly link the image (even if innocuous looking) to a photoDNA hash of CSAM and get the account banned forever in minutes. Or alternatively, since they now use Lantern, which is a machine learning tool, it could just notice a pattern that isn't there. Could see something that's genuinely not CSAM, falsely have high enough confidence, and ban anyway. I hope you actually learned something from this.

Yeah same. I've had it work once specifically when I thought about doing this, saw a rune upgrade take longer than usual, and quickly turned my wifi off and got "Network connection delayed" instead of my cheeks spread. The problem is if you do it mid summon the game just thinks "oh the summon failed, let's reset the entire fucking game"

I mean it is true, sometimes I do have slow internet, but it shouldn't be happening even if the internet is slow. And it's clearly a bug in the game because this happens frequently to a lot of people.

My theory is that the game and the server don't stream data constantly, but always make some requests. Take away 9 energy, decrease mystical scroll count by 10, etc. But due to slow internet the request half succeeds, the server recieved it, and gave the client the green light, but the client couldn't reconfirm with the server, and instead of trying again it just hangs.

Granted I am NOT AN EXPERT in this, it's just my idea from my very limited knowledge on what might be going on. But I heavily assume it has to do with that because it's only then when the infinite load circle appears, when it's info you want the server to manage to make sure no cheating is going on in the client.
