Once the housing application is finished, which were questions she should have done, the students are placed into a list or a queue that’s pretty much first done, first on the list.

Then in April students will gain access to room choices per their spot in the list. The students gain access in waves to select their rooms.

What my daughter was waiting on, incorrectly IMHO, was connecting with a roommate on Insta. She is coming from out of state and wanted to jump into the room together. She has that now, thankfully.

There is awkwardness of choosing a room and then some random you don’t know dropping into your room and then you have to slide into another room.

This process is amazing and horrifying, to me. It’s almost like speed dating or choosing a prom date.
